2026 Todd County Construction Update #1

Current Work Scheduled:

(Please note that this schedule of work can and will change, but it gives a general idea of timing for work on these projects.  The projects are listed in the anticipated order that work will progress.  We will periodically give updates as the work is completed and schedules change.)

CSAH 11 (SP 077-611-036) from the South County Line to TH 27:

  • Work is scheduled to start here on April 22nd for pavement surface milling operations and culvert lining repair work.
  • The road will remain open to traffic throughout construction with signage and flaggers present as needed during specific operations.
  • Upon completion of milling, there will be segments of the highway that will be reclaimed (exist. pavement ground-up with base material below).
  • Paving is anticipated for early-May with shouldering and striping to follow; with the current schedule all work should be completed by the end of May.

CSAH 2 (SP 077-602-021) from CSAH 11 to TH 28:

  • Work is scheduled to start here on April 29th for culvert lining repair work.
  • The road will remain open to traffic throughout construction with signage and flaggers present as needed during specific operations.
  • Pavement surface milling operations are anticipated to be completed the last week of April.
  • Upon completion of milling, there will be segments of the highway that will be reclaimed (exist. pavement ground-up with base material below).
  • Paving is anticipated for mid-May with shouldering and striping to follow; with the current schedule all work should be completed by the end of May.

 CSAH 4 (CP 77-26-01) Culvert Pipe Replacement West of 161st Ave. Intersection:

  • Work is scheduled to start here in early-May for culvert pipe excavation and replacement.
  • The road will have a short-term road closure during work to replace this single culvert pipe.
  • Once completed, the culvert excavation area will be open with gravel surfacing until asphalt paver patching occurs in mid-May.

CR 98 (CP 26:98) from CSAH 2 to TH 287:

  • Work is scheduled to start here in late-April or early-May for pavement surface milling operations.
  • The road will remain open to traffic throughout construction with signage and flaggers present as needed during specific operations.
  • Upon completion of milling, there will be segments of the highway that will be reclaimed (exist. pavement ground-up with base material below).
  • Paving is anticipated for late-May with shouldering and striping to follow; with the current schedule all work should be completed by mid-June.

CSAH 48 (SAP 077-648-005) from U.S. Hwy. 71 to TH 287:

  • Work is scheduled to start here in early-May for pavement surface milling operations and culvert lining repair work.
  • The road will have a short-term road closure during work to correct subgrade material at one culvert pipe location planned for mid-May.
  • Otherwise road will remain open to traffic throughout construction with signage and flaggers present as needed during specific operations.
  • Paving is anticipated for early-June with shouldering and striping to follow; with the current schedule all work should be completed by mid-June.

CR 104 (CP 26:104) from CSAH 13 to TH 28:

  • Work is scheduled to start here in mid-May for pavement surface milling operations.
  • The road will remain open to traffic throughout construction with signage and flaggers present as needed during specific operations.
  • Upon completion of milling, there will be segments of the highway that will be reclaimed (exist. pavement ground-up with base material below).
  • Paving is anticipated for early-June with shouldering and striping to follow; with the current schedule all work should be completed by mid-June.
