Historical Society Visit

Approximately 25 members of the Todd County Historical Society gathered on March 2 for a special tour of the New Solid Waste facility, gaining firsthand insight into the evolution of waste management, recycling and the services now available to residents. 


Growth Starts with Actions 
The visit began with a brief presentation outlining the  history of the county's previous facility and the factors that led to the development of the new site. Following the presentation, the group was guided through a comprehensive walkthrough of the new building. A highlight of the tour was the newly established re-use center, which emphasizes waste reduction by giving usable items a second life. 

Looking Forward to More Educational Visits
"This was a great opportunity to connect with the public," The Todd County Solid Waste Management team hopes to continue offering educational opportunities like this in the future, helping residents better understand their role in maintaining a cleaner, more sustainable community.
