2026-2027 ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Todd County Energy Assistance is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 Energy Assistance Program.
The deadline to apply is May 31, 2027.
The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) is a valuable resource for both renters and homeowners looking to manage their utility and home heating costs.
- Households who are at or below 50% of the state median income are eligible
- Size of grant is based on household size, income, fuel type and energy usage
- Federally funded through US Department of Human Services
- Funds are available for renters or homeowners
Services Include:
- Provide direct payment to the energy supplier
- Educate consumers to use home heating energy efficiently and safely
- Advocate with energy suppliers and human service providers on behalf of consumers
- Crisis help is available for utility disconnections or necessary fuel deliveries
- Emergency heating system repair or replacement for homeowners
